What makes Herbal Dork Co.’s soaps and salves unique?
We’re proudly dorky and wildly natural. Every bar of soap, salve, and jar of honey is handmade in Brook Park, MN, using farm-fresh inspiration and ingredients you can actually pronounce.
Where does the milk for your soaps come from?
We source our milk fresh from a local Amish farm right here in Minnesota. The cows are traditional A2 cows (that’s the old-fashioned breed known for easier-to-digest milk). The milk is raw and full-cream — no skimming, no shortcuts — which gives our soaps that rich, creamy lather people love.
Do you really use goat milk?
Yep! Our goat friends inspire many of our soaps — especially Billy, our resident mascot troublemaker. No worries though, Billy doesn’t actually give the milk (he’s a buck), but he sure inspires it.
Are your soaps safe for sensitive skin?
We keep our recipes gentle and avoid harsh detergents. Most folks with sensitive skin do great with our bars, especially our goat milk and unscented options.
